Friend affection Friend meeting :) share a chair when there’s not enough seating
if you find it hard to make close friends, i still recommend you do socialise a little. hangout with your classmates if they invite you, go to places, a little bit of human interaction everyday will keep you sane and make sure you are out of your head
my point is don’t expect every experience to be profound. and allow yourself your company in a gentle way
Where do you see yourself in 5 years?

the only issue i have with totk so far is that it is not very dumb-friendly. got to a shrine that honest to god made me go “nintendo i have no clue what the fuck you want from me”
saw this tweet which was the exactly shrine i made this post about. glad we all on the same page
I don’t even play gacha games, but being on Tumblr I absorb a lot of information about them against my will, and I have to admit it is in fact extremely funny that a. the limiting resource in Arknights is your characters’ mental health, and b. the items that restore mental health are a series of increasingly unethical experimental combat drugs, and then you hit the top of the item tier list and the most powerful mental health restoring item of all is an ordinary fast food hamburger.
Basic rules for analysing fiction, an incomprehensive list jotted down in a hurry:
- The protagonist isn’t always right
- The protagonist isn’t always good
- The protagonist isn’t always written to be relatable or likeable
- The narrator isn’t always right
- The narrator isn’t always good
- The narrator isn’t always telling the truth
- The narrator isn’t always the author
- The protagonist’s moral compass, the narrator’s moral compass and the author’s moral compass are three entirely different things that only occasionally overlap
- Pay attention to what characters do and not just what they say
- Pay special attention when what the characters do is at odds with what they say
- A lot of the time the curtains are blue for a reason. If they aren’t, you should read better books
